AmaCethe

AmaCethe is a Xhosa clan who originate from amaQhakancu – the original ethnic group from the Cape. AmaCethe use these phrases to salute themselves: Chizama, Ngcoko, Lanjana, Bhukruma, Mbambo zinomongo, oomadlinyam’ ikrwada. They have twenty-nine surnames:

Ngeju, Mata, Sabani, Mgxotheni, Ndemka, Totobela, Dukruwe,Bawuti, Mthi, Yili, Ntshudu, Tyhuthu, Vellem, Hoga, Nombamba, Dluthiwe, Mkona etc
