Former chairperson of the KZN Provincial House of Traditional and Khoi-San Leaders until June 2022. He serves alongside traditional Prime Minister Thulasizwe Buthelezi, following in the footsteps of Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi who served for 54 years. His role focuses on bringing peace and unity within the royal family following succession disputes after the death of King Goodwill Zwelithini in March 2021.
