  1. Shadrack Myeze

Good day. The main important thing in this surname from my recent finding is, Myeza it’s from “Ngiyeza” meaning ( I’m coming). Ngiyeza from Mzukwase son of Qwabe and grandson of Zulu. Myeza it’s associated with the practice of healer and medicine. Our grandfather in our family when he was happy and dancing he often saying this words ” I’m Myeza who is dancing here and it’s a medicine “. At the end he say this words, “we are coming from there” but not mentioning the place. So i’m remembering my grandfather when we come to a medicine. I’m educated now. Thanks very much , πŸ™πŸ™

  2. Shadrack Myeze

Good day again. There is something that i like to add on my last comments. By the time our grandfather came here, Giyani town was not settled and people from different tribes were mixed e.g Venda, Balobedu under queen modjadji and Shangani Tsonga. No boundaries was formed. Our grandfather Mdaniso/Mdanisi with his children they were not good in speaking Shangani Tsonga because of where they were coming from. They were not speaking Shangani Tsonga language from our family history ( but the language was not mentioned). This is the one that mostly worries me and wanting to know where Myeza/Myeze surname come from and whether it’s a really exciting surname in South Africa. Now i know that it’s existing and it’s from Zulu tribe originally. This surname it’s associated with practice of healers and medicines. Our grandfather by that time when he was happy and dancing, he often saying this “it’s not only Myeza who is dancing here, it’s a medicines” and lastly end up saying that we are coming from there, but not mentioning the name of the place. I’m happy because when i’m doing my investigation , some of my finding it do correspond or go hand in hand with what i know in our family history. I also know that Myeza it’s from Ngiyeza related Mzukwase son of Nqube and grandfather of Zulu if i’m not wrong, from my recent finding. So i’m happy with the little knowledge that i have from this surname at the moment. I thank you so much. πŸ™β€οΈπŸ™

  4. Shadrack Myeze

Good day . I think it will be meaningless to close my research, without saying anything from my lineage. I’m Shadrack Myeze wa Samuel wa Mbambhazi(Johannes) wa Mdhaniso wa Xikono wa Dzukumazu wa Mteto wa Gutsu wa Ramananga wa Ramapalapala. Normally we end up here, when we read our lineage and nothing as. The problem is here in Giyani we don’t have any link or joint families from our grandfathers. Mdhaniso come here with his two children, Mbambhazi and his sister who she was married to Hlavangwane at Bungeni. If all what i’m stated above it doesn’t match with the Myeza/Myeze surname, it means something wrong or cruel took place in our family. As we are using this surname, we will continue using it and we are given it from our grandfather. We deserve respect like other surnames and freedom, as we are respecting other surnames . Izithakazelo zakwa Myeza/Myeze surname, it’s our izithakazelo we must learn it and know it as our surname. If you don’t know your self, you don’t know where you are coming and going to. Surname is a key. πŸ™πŸ™

  5. Shadrack

Good day, i’m fine. I’m very happy with the finding that i have now. I started my research last years by the time our elderly brother he was alive. He is now passed away, may his soul can rest in perfect peace. I was directing my questions to him by that time, about Myeza/Myeze surname. Some of my question that i asked him, is to change this surname if possible because of external pressure, it gives us a problem when it comes to a job and we don’t have enough supporters on our things that we are doing. Our father he was already passed away and i was very young . My brother answered me that it can not be possible to change this surname because it was already documented from our father’s id and also our grandfather’s id book. He said we are not lost, this surname is our really surname from our id books document. Now i learnt something about izithakazelo zakwa Myeza/Myeze surname. I’m also know that it is a real existing surname here in South Africa. When i look back years ago in our family something wrong maybe took place or happened, due to my research of the surname. It’s too painful if you don’t know your self, where you are coming from and where you are going to.I don’t have more words to say,πŸ™πŸ™
