MAGALELA Clan Names & Family History | Umlando

Magalela Nkosi, of the Swazi nation, seperated from his family and nation because of wars. His wife, whose name is not known to this generation, was killed in those wars.

He then moved through Natal, KwaZulu via New Castle to the Eastern Transvaal ,Mpumalanga. He walked following the railway line with his only son with whom he managed to escape. He later named him β€œJantsi” meaning railway line.
Magalela eventually reached the mountaineous area of Fernie at Mpuluzi where his was also laid to rest. His son Jantsie married a lady from the Thomo clan, β€œUlaThomo” who gave him four children and a daughter.
First born being Hezekiya, Gcwetha, Aron , David and Josphine the only daughter.
Jantsi passed on in the early 20th century and was laid on the mountains of Diepdale, Etinkulungwane.
