The Magoda family originated from KZN in a place called St Louis and moved to Mozambique and came back to South Africa and settled at Bokisi, Mavalani, Piet Boy, Gawula, Maribyi yo Basa then to Mhlava was Willemu and Muyexe. Some are at Maphophe, Mhinga, Xivulani, Olfantshook, etc
