Thabisile Mngadi
Wife of an MK operative who, along with her two children and an elderly woman, were bound, gagged and locked in their house during a Vlakplaas operation while her husband was away. She and her family survived the attack, their story preserved in the historical record of apartheid-era human rights abuses.
