When Zulu warriors lay down to avoid British gunfire, he rallied them with the reminder that “Zulus stand up to fight,” leading to the annihilation of British forces. The Biyela clan are blood relatives of the royal house of the Zulu nation.
He preserves and shares the stories of his ancestors, including Mvundlana and Mkhosuna, with visitors to the Simunye Zulu Lodge, keeping the royal lineage alive through oral tradition.
