Izithakazelo zakwa Ntuli

Godide,
Mphemba,
Ndlela kaSompisi,
Sothole,
Gudukazi uyiNcwayo,
Khuboni,
Sompisi owaphemba ngamakhand’amadoda,
Abanye bephemba ngomlilo,
Nina base Lenge,
Enabonakala ngefu lezintuli,
Kwabe kunguSompisi kaGuqa, kaMasalela,
Mazimuzimu enidla’abantu,
Mgwabini wemikhonto,
Umahlatshwa ebuhleni njengethole,
Umagaju njengengwe,
Inhlangu eyeqa iphindaphinda,
Umanxeba angamanxuluma,
Kwasa bemhlaba uGwabini, waphika,
Lang’elaphum’endlebeni yendlovu,
Nyaka wumbe,
Lophum’ endlebeni yengwenya,
Unonjiyelwa,
Kulala uhlangothi lubomvu,
Ugodo olumuka namankayiya,
Langa!

Ezakithi izithakazelo zithi:

“Sompisi,
M’phemba,
M’phemba ngabele abanye bephemba ngezibi!

Ndlela,
Ndlela kaSompisi!
Godide,
Godide kaNdlela!
Mavumengwana!

It is not bad, however, to add QUOTES from Ndlela kaSompisi’s praise poem to our totem like many others do but izithakazelo Ezakithi kwaNtuli are as above.
People should refrein from mixing things up, like starting with the son back to the father and back again to the son and or grand sons.

The FATHER is M’phemba otherwise known as Sompisi. The SON is Ndlela. The GRAND SONS of Sompisi are Godide and Mavumengwana.

Sompisi was called M’phemba (Nkobe) because he was what one would call a chef in the king Senzangakhona’s kraal. Thus the name M’phemba, kwenzeka waphemba (start the fire) using amabele (sorghum). Emuva kwaleso senzo in his praise poem it was added: “M’phemba ngabele abanye bephemba ngezibi.” It was unheard of to start a born fire using food, people used dry grass – normally.
However, some have popularized “M’phemba wena owaphemba ngamakhanda amadoda.” This is wrong.

Form me owakwa Ntuli.
