Dlodlo is originally from South Africa. It was brought to current day Zimbabwe by King Mzilikazi Khumalo of the Matabele. King Mzilikazi was running away from King Shaka of the Zulu. They settled in the South Western part of present day Zimbabwe in Mthwakazi.
