What is the history of Jama?

Jama kaNdaba was the king of the Zulu Kingdom from 1763 until his death in 1781. He is known for his efforts to secure a successor, which led to the marriage of his daughter Mkabayi to Mthaniya, who bore him Senzangakhona. Jama’s reign was marked by internal strife and the need for strong leadership, which Mkabayi helped to provide. His legacy continued through his descendants, particularly Senzangakhona and Shaka Zulu, who would shape the future of the Zulu nation.
