ORIGIN OF NDUMO, MALINGA AND ZINDELA

Where do these clans originate from?

Numerous speculations have been around for quite some time now as to the origin of these clans. Some say we are Zulus, Swati, Sotho, Thonga, Xhosa or lastly amaHlubi abase Mbo or Lala people. After some lots of research, i can safely conclude that we are the Hlubi especially after reading history of Hlubi origin and their Kings’s praises found in many books i’ll cite on my conclusion of this presentation, but my citation presently come largely from the works of Henry Masila Ndawo reconds of 1928 – 1950.

The Hlubi (or amaHlubi) are a South African ethnic group. For at least two centuries they have been a part of the Nguni, Mbo or Lala nation. They are found in the Republic of South Africa in the KwaZulu/Natal, Eastern Cape and North West provinces, with an original settlement on the Buffalo River. Very little has been documented about this nation but there is a lot of oral literature regarding the history of the amaHlubi nation. The amaHlubi originated further North and migrated southwards with the other Nguni groups of the time.[citation needed]

They settled in the Lubombo mountains, a range that extends from Zululand to the Swaziland-Mozambique border. They migrated southwards to Natal. In the Lubombo mountains they separated from the group now known as the amaSwati. The amaHlubi are closely related to the Swazis, evident both in language and clan names. Traditionally amaHlubi kings preferred to marry Swazi girls as they saw them as their close relatives.

The amaHlubi people maintain that they are a different entity from all other groups in South Africa and in Africa generally though there a section of people closely related them known as Bashubi in Rwanda and Burundi.[citation needed] They are found also in places like Lesotho. They have secret female initiation rituals, and other customs separate them from the Nguni in general.

Kwacelwa inqina kuye wavuma kwahanjwa naye. Inkosi yafakelwa umuthi etshwaleni yaphuza nenceku. Sebebuya abayozingela izilwane zasendle,amabhubesi zahlasela inkosi nenceku yayo. Inkosi uNcobo uyena yedwa ongazange asiwe ukuyobekwa edwaleni njengosiko lakwaHadebe ngoba wadliwa ngamabhubesi. Inkosi uDlomoII wathatha ubukhosi ngenkani. Inkosi uMzwenkosi wazalwa ngonyaka we-1948 May 27. Uzalwa eNsukangihlale ngundlunkuluukaMafahleni, uMaZuma. Wabekwa esihlalweni sobukhosi bamaHlubi ngonyaka we-1974.Ukhulele kwaNxamalala. Inkosi yaqale yaganwa kwaXaba ilandela isiko lamaHlubi, kodwauMaXaba wabuyela kubo okunokwenzeka ukuthi akalwenzanga usiko lwamaHlubi. Inkosiyabuye yaganwa uMaDlamini ukuzovusa indlu kaMzamose kaSobhuza. Inkosi ihlala endaweniyakwaBhekuzulu esigodlweni eMaDlangeni, eMtshezi. Inkosi inabantwana abaneuBhekamaHlubi, uZibuyile (inkosazane), uMandla (odlulile emhlabeni kulo nyaka ka 2011)kanye noSondezi

Babedume ngani abantu bakwaHadebe?

Abaholi besizwe sakwaHadebe kuthiwa babenolwazi olunzulu lwemithi esetshenziswaebukhosini noma komkhulu futhi benemithi yokwenza imvula.
